Welcome to my blog!

I’m really excited to learn more about how technology can be used in education through this class. I hope to gain a better understanding of how different tools and platforms can make learning more engaging and accessible. I think these skills will be helpful not only for my own studies but also for future career opportunities, especially if I end up in a field like teaching, psychology, or community outreach. Learning how to effectively use technology could help me support others in their learning and personal growth, which is something I’m passionate about.

My past experiences with technology in school have mostly involved platforms like Canvas, Zoom, and Google Drive for managing assignments and working on group projects. During my study abroad program in London, I relied on tools like Quizlet and Evernote to keep up with my notes and studying while balancing travel and classes. I’ve also used Canva to create presentations and visuals for projects, which has been super helpful for making things look professional and creative. Overall, I’ve gotten pretty comfortable with using tech to stay organized and complete my work efficiently.

When it comes to my personal learning network, I love exploring topics that I’m passionate about, like psychology, sustainability, and creative hobbies. I spend a lot of time on platforms like YouTube and LinkedIn Learning for tutorials or professional development, and I also enjoy reading books and attending local workshops when I can. Recently, I’ve been getting into photography as a hobby and use apps like Lightroom to edit photos while connecting with online communities for tips and feedback. I think having a mix of online and offline resources helps keep learning fun and flexible for me.

Studying abroad in London sounds super cool, and it's awesome that you were still able to use Quizlet and Evernote for those classes. I definitely agree with you, I think mixing online and offline sources makes learning more flexible and provides so many more opportunities for learning.
